第四节 出彩结尾

结尾是全文的收笔处。精彩的结尾能够起到点睛的作用，给读者留下深刻印象，亦能唤起

读者的思考与共鸣，增强文章的感染力。在结束故事剧情的基本要求之上，可以灵活运用画面

定格、情感升华、主题提炼等多种方式进行结尾，对故事主题进行深化，使人物情感得到升华。一、画面定格式结尾

以具有特殊意义的特定画面结尾，这个画面既可以是开头画面的再现，也可以是其他的画

面，用来映衬人物当时的心情，渲染场景氛围。

Jarrett was testing his mountain bike outside of the city when he suddenly stopped. There was

something in the distance, moving among the trees. It was a five-month-old dog. The poor dog was really thin. His ribs (肋骨) were showing and he had a lot of road rashes (皮疹)

as well as a broken leg. Jarrett fed him and shared water with him. Jarrett had an idea. He carefully picked up his new friend and slipped its back legs into the back

pockets of his cycling shirt. Then he put the dog’s front paws on his shoulders. The dog was injured, so

he wasn’t trying to fight. He was also happy that Jarrett was there, touching him, and hadn’t left him

alone. With the dog secured, Jarrett cycled back into town to get more water and food for the dog. That was when Andrea, a corporate lawyer from Maine in town on business, happened by. The

dog made a beeline (径直奔向) for her, and licked her fingers. Andrea was smitten (突然被迷住), and

after learning what had happened, declared her intentions. “I am keeping this dog.” Andrea called him

Columbo after the town where they’d met, and scheduled an operation on his leg. Several days after Columbo’s operation, Andrea was called back to Maine. Before she left with

the puppy, she contacted Jarrett to ask if he would like to say goodbye. Jarrett met Columbo, whose

leg was already tied to a splint and wrapped with a bandage. The poor boy was still thin, but looked a

lot happier than the day they met. Andrea was planning to take Columbo to her parents’ place, where

he would have room to run around. She also left with Jarrett her number and e-mail, so that he could

check up on Columbo once in a while. Today, Columbo is living the high life on a farm. He has grown in size since his rescue, and

grown stronger as well. He is literally one of the luckiest dogs alive. ___________________________
